Serving Communities Across Southern California
Next Chapter Legacy Collective is a community-centered nonprofit serving Southern California, with an initial focus on Los Angeles and Orange counties. We create meaningful connections, expand access to resources, and develop programs that strengthen older adults, families, and communities across generations.
Why we exist
No one should feel forgotten in the place they call home.
For many older adults, a fixed income is largely consumed by housing before food, transportation, wellness, technology, or meaningful connection are addressed. We build pathways that help close those gaps while recognizing that every older adult still has knowledge, purpose, and a legacy worth growing.

Legacy deserves a place in the conversation.
Our commitment to legacy is personal. NCLC is rooted in founder R. Wooley's own family legacy of service—a legacy shaped by generations of community involvement, advocacy, and seeing the person before the problem. That foundation guides how we see aging today: not simply in terms of needs, limitations, and services, but as a continuing story of knowledge, relationships, resilience, creativity, and contribution.

The campaign initially focuses on Los Angeles and Orange counties and is designed to grow throughout Southern California as funding, community partnerships, and capacity make service possible.
