About NCLC

Built from the belief that being remembered matters.

Next Chapter Legacy Collective creates pathways to connection, resource navigation, and meaningful community experiences for older adults who feel forgotten—helping them remain engaged, supported, and valued within their communities.

Our story

Legacy is still being written.

NCLC was founded to close the human gaps that traditional systems can leave behind. Our property-first approach brings programs into participating senior housing communities, making connection and practical assistance easier to reach while honoring each person's dignity, independence, and continuing legacy.

“Building communities and legacies at every well-deserved age.”

Founder's story

Experience across systems. A vision centered on people.

R. Wooley brings a progressive professional background spanning healthcare enrollment, consumer finance, banking, customer advocacy, real estate operations, and affordable housing leadership. Each chapter of that career strengthened an understanding of how complex systems affect people—and how much thoughtful guidance, dignity, and human connection matter.

As a multi-site community manager, he oversees a multimillion-dollar affordable housing portfolio, leads teams and vendors, manages financial performance, and works within highly regulated housing programs. His experience includes LIHTC and subsidized housing compliance, resident relations, budgeting, conflict resolution, and coordination with housing authorities.

Years spent working directly within affordable senior communities revealed needs that property operations alone were never designed to meet: social isolation, difficulty navigating resources, limited digital access, and the quiet experience of feeling unseen. NCLC grew from the belief that older adults deserve more than stable housing—they deserve meaningful connection, practical support, and opportunities to continue building their legacy.
